Collection: Florida

Florida is a landscape often defined by its vibrant energy, but my focus when traveling throughout the state is on its quieter, structural elements. This collection brings together photographs from across the peninsula, exploring the stark contrasts between Florida's ancient natural environments and its evolving modern spaces. From the glassy, still waters of the Everglades and lonely coastal horizons to the sharp geometry of urban architecture, I am drawn to how the dense, tropical light shapes our perspective. These images aren't about the crowd; they are about the solitude, lines, and textures that emerge when you step back and look at the landscape as a whole.

Prints in this collection have been taken primarily in Naples, FL and by far most of these have been taken along the Gulf coast. Naples would not be what it is without the Gulf of Mexico on its western shores. The sunsets here rival those of anywhere else in the world. The regularity on which they occur is equally remarkable. Summer thunderstorms add drama to the scene. The abundance of shorebirds and beachgoers complete the setting. As wonderful as the sunsets and thunderstorms are, it is the twilight that often steals the shows. This is when the colors are at their most saturated resulting in some of the most amazing water reflections one could ever imagine.

A Multi-Faceted Visual Narrative of Florida for Modern Spaces

This collection, spanning the entire state, offers a sophisticated grounding element by providing an organic, raw texture of the wetlands or the crisp, minimalist lines of coastal architecture.

The Palette:

A versatile color and tonal range. Choose from the rich, deep greens and amber tones of old-growth Florida, the high-contrast monochrome of urban structures, or the soft, washed-out pastels of remote shorelines at dawn.

The Structural Variety:

Featuring a mix of expansive landscapes and tightly composed architectural abstracts, this collection allows you to create a cohesive multi-piece gallery wall or specify a single, large-scale anchor piece for high-impact walls.
