A woman is captured gazing out over the Gulf of Mexico at sunset along the Pier in Naples, FL. Her presence adds a very dreamy, pensive quality to the photograph. The original photograph was just of the seascape, but I quickly realized it needed a subject. I had photographed this woman earlier that evening at another location. With her presence come myriad questions and emotions, adding value to the photograph. As a photographer, I always try to see beyond the original image. What can I do to make it even more?
