This photograph was taken as a gull appeared out of the fog. The image intentionally presents more as a drawing than as a photograph. I remember the hours spent editing and printing to get this effect. It was taken just before dusk on a windy fall evening at Wellfleet Harbor on Cape Cod, MA.
